The Career Guidance Section is very important Section and part and parcel of a Public Library. At present this facility is available in 12 nos Public Libraries. This section holds a vast collection of Career Guide Book Specially for students and unemployed youths. This section provides Entrance examination books, competitive examination books; General knowledge books, current affairs journal & Magazines etc. At present there are 2,012 nos books in the career guidance section of Birchadra State Central Library which are very helpful for the candidates of competitive examination and higher study purpose. Everyday near about 100 users attend in this section and collect information as per their requirement. In the meantime so many users (unemployed youths) have succeeded in the competitive examination and got suitable job in various departments. Service time: - 7.30 am to 8.30 p.m. for Birchandra State Central Library and 12.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. for other libraries.
